Marcus Fysh MP has set up a meeting with Schools Minister Nick Gibb to discuss school funding in South Somerset. He has been an active part of the Fairer Funding for schools campaign which achieved success with recent Government agreement to change the formula that has for many years been weighted in favour of urban areas. Although the vast majority of local schools will benefit there are some facing a reduction in funding.
