Marcus Fysh MP is to take up the reins at the Yeovil Show as a guest commentator for the pony scurry racing as well as assistant judge in the ‘young handlers’ classes. He will also be the official judge of the trade stands at the Show.
As MP for Yeovil, Marcus is delighted that the show is set to return after such a long period of absence. ‘Yeovil is such a wonderfully diverse county town that excels in so many different areas of business. The show will provide a great platform for showcasing some of the local talent and products on offer – it’s great that it’s back.’
He’s also delighted to try his hand at commentating on the pony scurry racing, one of the most popular attractions in main rings at agricultural shows and which involves driving ponies through a course of cones at a fast and furious pace.
Marcus will also face the difficult task of judging the trade stand at the show. There will be 300 to choose from exhibiting wares ranging from tractors to cheese.
So please come along to the Yeovil Show, as it is a fantastic family event that cannot be missed!
